  • The eccentricity on the surface expresses "graupel" and is a typical pattern of Nanbu Tekki.

    Iwate prefecture is very cold, and the rain often turned into hail, which gave birth to this pattern. Due to its large surface area, it is said to boil quickly and is packed with the wisdom of its predecessors.

    By the hands of craftsmen, about 4000 pieces have been made out of the ordinary.

    The interior is made of charcoal at 850 ° C to 900 ° C for about two and a half hours in a kettle (unglazed), which has been thoroughly treated with gold and rust prevention, and all processes are carefully created by hand.
